FetTube responds to properly documented copyright notices and provides perceptual fingerprint protection designed to reduce repeated unauthorized uploads.

DMCA Notice of Copyright Infringement

In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act of 1998, FetTube responds to copyright infringement reports submitted through the form below. Under Section 512(f), a person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material or activity is infringing may be subject to liability.

FetTube may remove content and suspend or terminate accounts that infringe, or appear to infringe, intellectual-property or other third-party rights.

A valid notice must identify the protected work, identify the material to be removed with information reasonably sufficient for us to locate it, provide complete contact information, include the required good-faith and accuracy statements, and contain the physical or electronic signature of an authorized person.

Proactive Content Protection

Protect originals before they are reposted.

FetTube uses TMK+PDQF perceptual video fingerprints. Unlike a normal file checksum, TMK compares visual characteristics and can often recognize copies that have been re-encoded, resized, compressed, cropped, watermarked or moderately modified.

Private referenceThe retained .tmk fingerprint cannot be played as a video.

Similarity matchingFuture submissions can be checked before normal processing.

Additional protectionHeavily modified or very short clips may still be harder to detect.

Copyright owners may submit original videos for temporary private analysis or import fingerprints they generated locally. Original protection uploads are deleted automatically after fingerprint generation.
